Hi, I’m Jeremy - born and raised in Cape Town, South Africa. My journey back to Israel took the scenic route through Johannesburg and Melbourne, where I picked up an amazing wife and three wonderful kids along the way. I made Aliyah in 2007, and this year (2025) marks 18 years - Chai! A real lifetime.
I’m modern Orthodox, deeply connected to Jewish tradition, and fascinated by the layers of history, faith, and culture that make this land so special.
Before becoming a tour guide, I spent over 30 years in the corporate world as a Supply Chain and Operations Executive - leading multicultural teams and implementing new business processes across global organizations.
History has always been my real passion. I’ve devoured books, podcasts, and documentaries for as long as I can remember. Eventually, I realized it was time to follow that passion and do something that speaks to the soul. Becoming a licensed Israeli tour guide was that step — and one of the best decisions of my life.
During the course, I studied alongside Jews, Christians of all denominations, and Muslims. We learned together, shared perspectives, and built friendships - a reminder that Israel’s story is richer and more complex than any single narrative. This has shaped my guiding philosophy: curiosity, respect, and connection.
Exploring the land from Metulla to Eilat has made the Tanach come alive for me. I may not be THE expert in tanach, archaeology, history, or geology, but I love showing how all these stories intertwine to make Israel truly unique. Through my work, I aim to offer incredible historical tours in Israel that highlight these connections.
My goal — and the goal of Israeli Heritage Tours — is to help you or your group experience Israel’s wonders and leave with a deeper connection to its people, the land and its nuanced history. I’d love to share these Israel travel experiences with you, especially through our Jewish heritage tours.
